The Joshua Kimmich saga has come to an end, and it’s bad news for PSG.
The 30-year-old midfielder has decided to extend his contract with Bayern Munich until June 2029, shutting down speculation about a move to Paris.
Despite being a free agent this summer, Kimmich had sparked rumors after admitting that several clubs were interested in him following Bayern’s 3-0 win over Leverkusen in the Champions League. However, Bild confirms that he has chosen to remain with the Rekordmeister, rejecting a concrete offer from PSG.
A blow for Paris, which must now look elsewhere to strengthen its midfield. Meanwhile, Kimmich, who joined Bayern in 2015, will continue his long-standing journey in Bavaria.
