Talks between Liverpool and Mohamed Salah for a contract extension have resumed, but tensions remain high.
Liverpool has finally presented a renewal offer to its Egyptian star. However, this proposal appears far from meeting Salah’s expectations. According to Egyptian journalist Ahmed Atta, this new offer includes a significant salary reduction, which has deeply disappointed the player.
“What I know is that Salah recently received a formal extension offer. His salary has been significantly reduced compared to his current contract. I don’t understand Liverpool’s board’s strategy, as Salah’s priority is to stay,” said the journalist.
