Ibrahima Konaté remains vague about his future, stating in Téléfoot that he is not focusing on his next move… for now.
Under contract with Liverpool until June 2026, Ibrahima Konaté (25 years old, 18 matches, 1 goal in the Premier League this season) has yet to reach an agreement with the club regarding a potential extension. Could this open the door for a move elsewhere next summer?
The French defender is reportedly on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. When asked about his situation by Téléfoot this Sunday, Konaté’s response left all options open for the upcoming transfer window.
“Have I received a contract extension offer? Yes. The rumors about PSG and Real Madrid? Hearing that big clubs are interested in me is obviously flattering. But right now, I’m fully focused on this season, aiming to win everything and secure as many titles as possible. As for my contract situation, that’s something my agents and advisors handle.”
