With his contract expiring in June, Luis Campos has yet to sign an extension with PSG and was notably absent from the official contract renewals announced last Friday. A disagreement with the club’s management has led the Parisians to consider potential replacements.
Andrea Berta in Talks?
According to Le Parisien, PSG has resumed discussions with Andrea Berta, the former Atlético Madrid sporting director, who has been a free agent since January.
However, Campos’ departure is not confirmed. His recent work, particularly in securing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, has impressed the club. Additionally, his strong relationship with Luis Enrique could work in his favor.
Campos Attracting Lucrative Offers
The Portuguese strategist is not short of options. Two English clubs are interested in securing his services, while Saudi Arabia has reportedly offered him a key role in organizing the 2034 World Cup, with financially enticing proposals.
A Renewal Still Possible?
Despite the ongoing uncertainty, Campos remains committed to his work at PSG and considers the club his priority. A contract extension is still on the table, but his future in Paris remains uncertain.
