Lamine Yamal has expressed his deep love for FC Barcelona, making it clear that leaving anytime soon is not an option for him.
At just 17 years old, Yamal is already carving out his legacy at Barça. With 32 appearances and 11 goals across all competitions this season, he is becoming indispensable. Now, he is set to extend his contract with the club until June 2030—on his 18th birthday.
“This is the only club I’ve been with, apart from La Torreta, where I first started playing. But yes, I owe everything to Barça. It’s where I grew up. I joined La Masia at 12 and Barça at seven,” the young European champion told Mundo Deportivo.
“I love everything here—the team, the club, the fans, the locker room, the staff. Everything is perfect in Barcelona, and honestly, I’ve been incredibly happy since joining the first team. The welcome, the affection from the fans and my teammates—it all means so much.”
