After PSG’s dominant 7-0 victory over Saint-Brieuc in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France, the semi-final lineup is now complete. The matches are set to take place on April 1 and 2.
Among the four qualified teams, only one other Ligue 1 club joins PSG: Stade de Reims, who secured their place after yet another penalty shootout win against Angers (1-1, 5-3 on penalties). Having already eliminated Monaco and Bourgoin-Jallieu via penalties, Reims reaches the semi-finals for the first time since 1988.
AS Cannes (National 2) pulled off a major upset by knocking out Guingamp (Ligue 2) in a flawless performance, highlighted by a stunning long-range goal from Cédric Gonçalves. This makes Cannes the sixth fourth-division club to reach the Coupe de France semi-finals since 2000.
Meanwhile, USL Dunkerque (Ligue 2) produced a sensational comeback against Stade Brestois (3-2), overturning a 2-0 deficit with a dramatic late surge, including a crucial goal from defender Opa Sangante. Having already eliminated Auxerre and Lille, Dunkerque continues its fairytale run.
The semi-final draw will take place on Thursday, February 27, at 7:50 PM.
