Paris Saint-Germain could capitalize on FC Barcelona’s financial struggles to bolster its squad in the winter transfer window.

Struggling to comply with La Liga’s strict salary cap rules, Barça has been unable to register the contracts of summer signings Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. While there’s a last chance to resolve this issue next week, the outlook appears bleak for the Catalan club.

PSG is ready to seize the opportunity. Dani Olmo, one of Barça’s marquee acquisitions, is a prime target for Paris. But the club’s ambitions don’t stop there. Alejandro Baldé, a highly-rated 21-year-old left-back, is also on PSG’s radar and could step in to replace Nuno Mendes if the Portuguese star departs.

The Parisians are also eyeing Baba Kourouma, a 16-year-old central defender and standout prospect from Barça’s famed La Masia academy. However, PSG will face stiff competition from Manchester City, who are equally interested in the young talent.

With Barcelona under mounting pressure, the prospect of losing key players looms large. Armed with significant financial power, PSG is once again asserting itself as a dominant force in the transfer market.
