Paris Saint-Germain has officially closed the chapter on two high-profile targets: Victor Osimhen and Rayan Cherki.

The Nigerian striker, who has netted 10 goals in 12 league matches and is currently on loan from Napoli to Galatasaray, will not be joining Paris this winter. According to information revealed by Téléfoot, the capital club has definitively moved on from this pursuit despite its need for reinforcements in attack.

The same outcome applies to Lyon playmaker Rayan Cherki. With 3 goals in 12 Ligue 1 appearances this season, the 21-year-old talent had caught PSG’s attention. However, the club’s interest appears to have cooled, and its priorities have shifted elsewhere.

PSG is now focused on signing a winger to shake up the squad hierarchy and address the underwhelming performances of Bradley Barcola in recent weeks. Strengthening this position has become a key objective for Luis Enrique, who is keen to inject fresh competition into his offensive lineup.

In defense, the club remains on standby. A move will only be considered if Milan Skriniar, currently targeted by Galatasaray, departs. Should the Slovakian center-back leave, PSG could seek a suitable replacement. The Parisians’ winter transfer window is shaping up to be pragmatic rather than ambitious, reflecting their evolving priorities.
