Could Liverpool be in Elon Musk’s sights? Not anytime soon. The English club has responded to the latest takeover rumors.

The Musk family is making headlines across the globe. Elon Musk has stirred up controversy with his recent public statements, but his father, Errol Musk, added fuel to the fire by revealing to Times Radio that his son is considering purchasing Liverpool.

Elon Musk has long been a fan of Liverpool, but that doesn’t mean he will succeed, as he did with X/Twitter.

According to the Daily Mail, the current owners of Liverpool, Fenway Sports Group, have no intention of selling the club to Elon Musk—or any other potential buyer.

The British outlet also notes that Elon Musk hasn’t even made any attempts to initiate contact regarding the matter. It seems this might just be another wish from the Tesla CEO, likely to appear alongside his Christmas list…
