The Juventus board is standing firm—coach Thiago Motta will stay despite the ongoing crisis.
Just a week after suffering a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Atalanta, Juventus endured another crushing loss, falling 3-0 to Fiorentina in Serie A on Sunday.
“Our position remains unchanged”
“We continue with Thiago Motta; we are maintaining our position. The only way out of this situation is together. It’s a difficult moment, but we remain united, and our stance does not change,” said Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli on DAZN.
After 29 matchdays, Juventus sits in a concerning fifth place in the league, needing a turnaround to secure a Champions League spot. For now, Motta’s job seems safe until the end of the season—but will Juve stick with him beyond that?
