Rio Mavuba warns that Mohamed Salah will be Paris Saint-Germain’s main danger in the Champions League Round of 16 clash.
The Egyptian forward (32 years old, 7 matches, 3 goals in the UCL) has been in top form this season and will be a key threat for PSG in Wednesday’s first-leg encounter.
Speaking on Téléfoot, Rio Mavuba highlighted Salah’s consistency and importance to Liverpool: “This season, he’s been the most consistent player. He delivers every game and is just a few goals away from being the top scorer in a single Premier League season. In the Champions League, he always steps up.”
Mavuba also admitted he was surprised by Salah’s continued dominance, despite Liverpool undergoing a transition period post-Klopp:
“Honestly, after Klopp’s years, I thought he might decline. But in reality, he remains Liverpool’s number one asset and the biggest threat for PSG.”
