Victor Osimhen has been in excellent form for Galatasaray, scoring 20 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions.
However, the 26-year-old Nigerian striker, currently on loan from Napoli, remains uncertain about his long-term future in Turkey. When asked by Calcio Mercato about his plans, Osimhen gave a cautious response:
“Will I stay? To be honest, I don’t know for now. A few months ago, no one would have imagined me playing for Galatasaray, and many thought I would leave in January. I take things day by day and don’t know what will happen this summer. I love the fans, the club, and the city—it’s a privilege to be here, and I’m enjoying the experience.”
This uncertainty complicates Galatasaray’s ambitions to keep their star striker. The Turkish club has already submitted a €65 million offer to Napoli for a permanent deal, but the situation remains unclear, as Osimhen’s release clause is set at €75 million. It remains to be seen whether Galatasaray will meet the full asking price or if Osimhen will move elsewhere this summer.
