Premier League’s top scorer, Mohamed Salah (32 years old, 26 matches and 24 goals this season), is five goals ahead of his closest rival, Erling Haaland (24 years old, 25 matches and 19 goals this season).
The Liverpool winger even compared himself to the Manchester City striker, claiming that the latter has less to do on the pitch.
“I have a lot of respect for Erling Haaland. He’s a center-forward, so his role is a bit easier,” the Egyptian told Sky Germany. “For a winger, achieving such statistics is quite challenging. Every winger can confirm that”.
“So, I see things differently between us because he’s a striker and I’m a winger.”
